To start off, I have one of those wives who loves listen to music in the bathroom, either while she is in the shower or getting ready for the day. I was the complete opposite before we got married…I was in and out and didn’t take longer than I needed to. It wasn’t until after we got married that it all changed. I soon found myself taking my iPod and using her docking station to listen to music while I was taking a shower or getting ready. My morning routine definitely got longer after we got married.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always been a big music fan and enjoy singing along to the songs…just not in front of other people. The shower has been the place where I can sing along and not have to worry about others listening or judging how I sound. I’m not going to lie, I think the shower is where I do some of my best work; the acoustics are great and it makes me sound like I can actually sing (although my wife might tell you otherwise).

Searching for the Right Bluetooth Speaker

After what seemed like a decade, my wife’s ipod docking station in the bathroom finally gave up the ghost. I decided I was going to get her a new one but wanted to do some research to make sure I got a good one that would last awhile. I was looking online at work and decided to ask a couple of my co-workers if they had one they personally used or would recommend and that’s when one of them told me to check out the ShowerBooster by TK Products. He had one and loved that it wasn’t a docking station he had to keep plugged in on the counter, but a bluetooth speaker that was used and controlled in the shower.

I ordered the ShowerBooster and it has been awesome! My wife and I use it everyday when getting ready in the morning and love the features. Simply put, it’s easy to set up and use. The speakers on it are very crisp and sound really good…and they can definitely get loud. The battery on this thing seems to last forever-we charge it and are able to use it for over a week before having to charge it again. We love the Bluetooth connections and that both our phones are able to pair with it (I have an apple and she now has an android) and the range of 30 feet is great- half the time our phones don’t even have to be in the same room.

More than Just for the Shower

The longer we’ve owned the ShowerBooster, the more uses we have for it beyond the shower or bathroom. Because of the bluetooth speaker range we will take it to other areas of the house as we are cleaning or doing chores and just leave our phones in our pockets. The volume is loud enough to hear throughout the house as we do stuff. I found myself taking it to our storage unit the other day so I could listen to my music as I cleaned and organized. Some other people there commented on how loud and clear the speakers on the device got.

The two other places we use the ShowerBooster is when we go to the park or to the pool. We live in a college town that has a lot of parks and people frequently go to them, including us. A lot of times we’ll take food and just relax and listen to some music while hanging out at the park. The same with at the apartment pool where we live- when swimming or laying out, we have the music playing and aren’t afraid of it getting wet since it’s a water resistant bluetooth speaker. In either instance, we have people come up to use and ask about the ShowerBooster bluetooth speaker.

I know this has sounded like one long endorsement for ShowerBooster…which, in reality it is. But I wouldn’t do something like this if I didn’t like and fully back this product. After reading some of the reviews online I was a little skeptical but I’m glad I did it. This is something that we use everyday and haven’t had a problem with it. My wife wishes we had found this earlier so that we didn’t have to have the docking station taking up one of the outlet plugs in the bathroom (1st world problems I guess). We really have enjoyed having the ShowerBooster and encourage others to try it out for themselves. It’s been a fun product to have.
